A Tracker monitors all tweets about a campaign or topic. Like a TweetReach report, you need to first determine your search query. This can be one or more keyword, hashtag, username, etc... (up to 15 terms in each Tracker). Then set up and turn on your Tracker. From that point on, we’ll find, archive and analyze all public tweets about your topic until you turn the Tracker off. You can view analytics for your reach, exposure and more at any time - just log into your account. Tracker analytics are constantly updated and available to you anytime. You can generate reports for specific time periods or for the entire time the Tracker has been running.
The Tracker calculates the same metrics available in the standard TweetReach reports - reach, exposure, number and type of tweets, Twitter users, etc... These data are broken down over time so you can view trends and variations. In addition, the Tracker provides information about each tweet in the report, including how many times it was retweeted and how many impressions that tweet generated. You can see the most retweeted tweets, and the tweets that generated the highest exposure. In addition, the Tracker includes detailed contributor metrics like Klout score, number of followers and more. There are detailed reports for hashtags and URLs, including bit.ly clicks.
Tracker metrics are calculated in real time, so the number you see is always up-to-date. The total reach number is updated every few minutes. If you hover over the little clock icon next to those numbers, you'll see when the reach number was last recalculated.
The Tracker starts finding tweets when you set it up and turn it on. It cannot go back and incorporate earlier tweets. The Tracker is meant to monitor Twitter activity in real time, as it happens. It can track unlimited new and future tweets for unlimited time, though.
Not at all. We still offer both the free and full ($20) TweetReach reports, which are perfect for snapshots or short campaigns. The Tracker is an additional offering for longer and more active campaigns, even ongoing brand monitoring. If you have a TweetReach Pro account, you’ll have both reports and Trackers available.
TweetReach Trackers are available to all TweetReach Pro subscribers. Depending on your Pro plan level, you’ll have between 1 and 20 Trackers. Note that this isn't the number of new Trackers per month, but the total Trackers you'll have available with each plan.
Mini Plan: 1 Tracker
Basic Plan: 3 Trackers
Plus Plan: 6 Trackers
Premium Plan: 10 Trackers
Max Plan: 20 Trackers

Absolutely! Just enter that username into your Tracker's tracked terms. Make sure you leave off the @ symbol so we'll find all mentions of that account, including tweets from (and retweets of) that account.
Yes! You can edit your Trackers from the main Tracker tab on your TweetReach portal. From there, you can change the status from Running to Stopped. Once a Tracker is stopped, it will no longer collect new data (until you turn it back on). Even after a Tracker is stopped, you'll still have access to all the data it collected when it was running.
Yes, you can edit a Tracker at any time. When you save your updated search queries, the changes will take effect within a minute or two and your Tracker will begin finding new tweets right away. Changes will only affect new tweets, however, and will not impact tweets your Tracker has already found. If you wish to start over completely with a new topic, you might want to start an entirely new Tracker.
We remove the Tracker and all the tweets it found from our system. There is no recovering a deleted Tracker, so think carefully before clicking Delete.
A Tracker can monitor up to 15 search queries at once (and up to 15 exclusions). Simply enter the terms you want to search for on the Tracker setup page. You can edit your search terms anytime. A few things to note about the way Twitter search works:
Be sure to include common misspellings of your search terms, as well as alternate grammatical and plural/singular forms. If you ever have any questions about setting up your Tracker search terms, let us know before you start! We can help make sure you're getting exactly the data you want.
