Understanding the Metrics
When tweets start coming in, you can review, analyze and generate reports of your Tracker metrics. Here's a screenshot. (PS - We're starting to roll out a new look for our Trackers. Check it out!)
Tracker components include:
- Reach - How many unique people received a tweet about your search term
- Exposure - Total overall impressions generated about this term
- Tweet Volume - The number of tweets about a search term and the breakdown of tweets, retweets, and @replies
- Contributors - List of people who tweeted about the search term, includes person-level detail about a person's influence and impact on a Tracker (see screenshot below)
- Averages - The average number of tweets per month and the average number of tweets posted per contributor
- Amplification - The number of impressions generated compared to the unique reach (impressions per recipient account)
- Tweets - List of all tweets about a search term, can be sorted by recency, highest exposure and most retweeted, also includes information about each tweet's retweets and overall impressions generated
- Top 100 contributors - List of Twitter users who contributed the most impressions for your search term
- Hashtag details - List of most-used hashtags, as well as details for individual hashtags
- URL details - List of most-used URLs, as well as details for individual URLs and click statistics for all bit.ly links
- Search - Search within your Tracker for specific keywords or users
- Data export - Print your Tracker data to a PDF or export it to a CSV for use in Excel and Numbers
- Time period rollup - View your data by day, week or month
Setting up a Tracker
Getting started with your TweetReach Tracker is quick and easy. You'll need one Tracker per campaign or general topic you want to monitor. One Tracker can consist of up to 15 search queries. There are detailed setup instructions here.
To generate a report of your Tracker results, first select the time period you wish to view. You can change the date range in the top right corner of your Tracker.
Then, you can print your data, export to a CSV file, or generate a PDF of your results (print buttons located at top right of Tracker page).
